Schedule a recording engineer for the recital.

Bring this Recital Checklist to the Music Office; a photocopy will be made for your file.
Enroll in MUPF 34xx (Junior Recital Preparation) or MUPF 44xx (Senior Recital Preparation).
Semester of Enrollment
Secure accompanist(s).
Submit drafts of the recital program and program notes to the Recital Committee for approval
by the Recital Hearing.
The required template for the recital program and guidelines for the program notes can be
found at the department website. The programs notes should cover an entire page.
Complete a Recital Hearing
Bring Performance Assessment forms, as well as copies of the program and program notes,
for every member of the Recital Committee to the Recital Hearing.

Submit the final drafts of the recital program and program notes to the Music Office at least
one week prior to the Recital for duplication. Your recital will then be added to departmental
publicity efforts (Facebook, etc.).
Bring Performance Assessment forms for every member of the Recital Committee to the Recital.
Submit a recording of your recital and this Recital Checklist to the Music Office by no later
than the last day of classes.
Performance Assessment forms, recital program, program notes, and recording are on file in the
Music Office. MUPF 3400 (Junior Recital) or MUPF 4400 (Senior Recital) has been added to the
student’s transcript.
