Identify which group or family it bellows to (alkali metal, alkaline earth metal,
halogen, or noble gas) and explain why you think it belongs in that group
a. The element herculium (Hr) is a gas at room temperature, does not conduct an electric
current, when combined with sodium it produces a lot of heat and explodes.
b. The element bastetium (Bs) is a solid at room temperature, is soft, can conduct an
electric current, and when combined with fluorine makes a lot of heat and explodes.
c. The element Restium (R) is a gas at room temperature, glows a bright yellow when an
electric current, but does not react with other elements.
