It is with great sadness that I have learned of Mike's tragic and senseless death last night. In the

short time that he was with Computershare, he had made an immense difference to your team. Mike

was not just competent, he was a pleasure to work with and I will dearly miss him. It is strange - I

still have his emails in my inbox, chasing me for certificates to save his "derriere"!

My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. Please also extend my sympathy to Mike's family.

I am at a loss for words - we had lunch not many weeks ago when he and André were in Cape Town

- I can still see him sitting across the table from me..

Dear Stan,

All of us at Mr Price were deeply shocked to hear about the death of Mike Thomson in such tragic

circumstances. Words cannot help much at the present time but please accept our heartfelt

condolences extended to all of you at Computershare and if possible to Mikes family. The loss of such

a good man who was a productive and valuable member of this society is felt most keenly by all of

you but is a loss suffered by all of us who wish for a better future for our country.

I received a mail from Gregory who advised me of Mike’s sudden death. The news was a shock to

me.

I would like to ask you to send my condolences to Mike’s family and all the people at Computershare.

It is very sad what happened and Mike will be a great loss to all.

I thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with him and regarded him as an outstanding person with great

ideas and foresight.
