NOTES AND TIPS

This Invitation template is a tool to capture IDEAS.

We hope to turn these ideas into a programme of (mainly small) Breakfast “events” up to 22/9/2016 which will raise awareness of your

work and your leadership for Aberdeen. We will gather these ideas & get back to you on next steps.

All of your table today can get together on an event. Or maybe only 1 of you will want do something. Or maybe each of you will plan

something different. 1 of you might offer one thing, another something else.

What subjects you explore at your Breakfast is up to you. What has stimulated you today? What thinking has Big Aberdeen highlighted

for you? Your Breakfast theme could be specific like “recycling” or abstract like “innovation”.

Who you invite is up to you as long as they include the Third Sector or volunteers. They may be here today or not. We will try to help you

make connections after today. We cannot guarantee acceptances. You can plan to invite “10 young Aberdonians” or “3 business leaders” or

“The Lord Provost” or “Mr Joe Bloggs”

It is up to you how many people you want to attend – 3 or 300. They must include the Third Sector or volunteers. We have no budget to

offer. Plan within your own resources. Collaborate! Your event does not have to be free. You can serve just tea & rowies or a Full Scottish.

Depending on your timetable we may be able to help identify venues.* You can plan “in our Boardroom” or “somewhere in Torry”

The timetable is up to you. You can plan to have 1 event on “A Saturday in 2016” or on “Our Anniversary” or “Every Wednesday in June”.

Yours could be an “All Day Breakfast”
