This Agreement, and the availability of complaints and appeals processes, does not remove your rights to take

action under Australia’s consumer protection laws.

Section 6: Student Declaration and Acceptance of Offer

I, the Student, declare as follows.

I have read and understood the Letter of Offer, the Terms & Conditions of Enrolment, Fee Payment and Refund

Policy and this Form (together the Student Agreement).

I agree to the terms and conditions of the Student

Agreement.

I understand that I am required to comply with MIT’s Regulations (statutes, regulations, policies and procedures)

and acknowledge that these have been made available for me to read at

us/governance/institute-rules-policies-and-plans. I agree to abide by MIT’s Regulations.

I declare and warrant that all of the information provided on this form and all of the information and documents

provided in support of my enrolment is correct and complete in every material way. I understand that incorrect, false

or misleading information may lead to my enrolment being rejected or cancelled.

I agree to pay all fees (including upfront fees) charged to me arising from this enrolment and in accordance with the

Student Agreement.

I understand and accept that:



I must satisfy all of the requirements for acceptance into the course/s. If they are not fully satisfied on or before

the date of the commencement of the course/s, I cannot commence the course/s and my Student Agreement

may be terminated;



I must arrive in Australia, enrol and commence the course/s by the course commencement date;



I must advise MIT of my residential address in Australia within 7 days of arriving and inform MIT of any change

to my residential address within 7 days of the change in writing. I must also provide any applicable mobile phone

number and email address and advise MIT in writing of these every 6 months during the period I am enrolled

in the course/s;



I must attend all classes, course related information sessions, supervised study sessions and assessment

sessions and undertake all assessments during my course/s;



I must be covered by Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) while I am on a student visa, unless an exemption

applies. If I am accompanied by family, the OSHC family fee must be paid. I understand that if I prematurely

withdraw from my course and return home, the prepaid portion may be refunded by the Health Cover Provider

(not MIT) upon request;



I am responsible for paying tuition fees for the course/s as well as visa and living costs (such as the cost of

transportation, accommodation, books, equipment, OSHC and field trips, and fees for any school aged

dependents who accompany me to Australia);
