Job Summary

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager the candidate will be responsible for undertaking various planned

maintenance tasks and occasional new installation work in order to achieve a high level of service delivery.

The individual will work as part of the Mobile Engineering team but must demonstrate a sound knowledge of all

M&E building services and demonstrate ability to work on own initiative.

Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Working as part of the Maintenance Team, as one of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers you will be

responsible for maintaining high quality electrical and mechanical installations, repairs and maintenance to

M&E Plant and Building Fabric. You will play a key role in planning and completing a range of planned

maintenance works associated with electrical & mechanical engineering encompassing lighting installations,

heating installations, door entry systems and ventilation systems. You will also complete proactive inspections

and any required remedial repairs and monitor and manage equipment operation via BMS systems.

This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Maintenance Engineer

(Mechanical Bias) and the range of duties to be undertaken.
