TAX INTEREST AND PENALTIES
Chapter 5.08.100 in the event a return is not made or the tax is not paid for any quarter within the following
calendar month, a penalty of five percent (5%) of such tax as is unpaid shall be added to such tax for the first
month of delinquency or any fraction thereof, and an additional five percent (5%) shall be added for each
additional month of delinquency or fraction thereof, until the total penalty of fifteen (15%) has accrued. Interest
at the rate of fifteen percent (15%) per annum from the date of delinquency until paid shall accrue in the same
manner. Such penalty and interest shall be collected in the same manner as the tax.
