Goal:

Along with the daily child care provided, our goal for your child is the ability to identify

basic shapes and colors, count and understand numbers 1 through 10, and identify letters in

the alphabet. We also will be working on positive behaviors, manners, and potty training.

All hands are washed and breakfast is served to hippo students in their classroom

Social time- children may choose from activities placed around the classroom (dress-up,

kitchen, cars/trucks, blocks, animal characters, people characters, chalk, etc.). Restroom breaks & hand

washing occur as children are playing.

Wiggle time, minimum of 20 minutes (dancing, yoga, gym games, gross motor skills)

Circle time- children sit/stand together while teacher instructs (sing songs, counting, learn

rhymes, friends’ names, shape and color review, holding utensils correctly, social cues, etc.)

Diaper changes, restroom break, and clean up. Story time & lullaby music occurs before

Diaper changes, potty time, and wash hands and face. Immediately followed by afternoon snack

and a second session of wiggle time (minimum of 20 mins)
