Thank you for your nomination for The Ewing M. Kauffman Adult Eagle Scout Award. Posthumous nominations will be
accepted and considered for recognition. Selection will not be dependent on where the Eagle Scout resided at the time of
receipt of his Eagle Scout recognition.

each award semi-finalist.
All nominations are kept on file for three years if not selected in the first year. Nominators are encouraged to update
nomination materials annually. Candidates may be re-nominated after the above retention period has expired.
This information is requested to select individuals for recognition. No persons outside the Heart of America Council staff
and members of the Nomination Committee are routinely provided this information. Excerpts from the nomination and
supporting references may be used for publicity or in the printed materials associated with awarding this recognition.
Award Ceremony: The recipients of The Ewing M. Kauffman Adult Eagle Scout Award will be recognized and their
awards will be bestowed at The Royal Gathering of Eagles at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri during the
Kansas City Royals baseball game. Additional details will be provided to all award recipients.
