Proof of Whitewater River Outfitter License
Commercial outfitters must have a federal permit

needed to receive a federal permit. Contact the U.S. Forest

The proof of license must be available at either the site
where the vessels are put into the river or the site where
the vessels are taken out of the river. A photocopy of the
Business License showing “whitewater river outfitter” will
be accepted as proof of having a license.
