2The term “lot” as defined in the Northumberland County Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance includes
a parcel, tract or area of and established by a plot or otherwise as permitted by law and to be used, developed
or built upon as a unit.
TIME LIMITATIONS: The Northumberland County Planning Commission has ninety (90) days within which to
review and render a decision on subdivision and land development plans once applications are officially filed in
accordance with the Northumberland County Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance. The review period
may be extended if requested by the applicant. When the time period has been stopped due to an incomplete
application package, incorrect fee or other reasons, the time period will continue from the day in which the
application package is deemed complete.
FEE SCHEDULE
The following fees shall apply to each land subdivision or land development submitted to the Northumberland
County Planning Commission for review:
FEES FOR SUBDIVISION/LAND DEVELOPMENT PLANS
FEES EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2009
Minor Subdivision
(1-5 lots): $150.00 plus $50.00 per lot
Major Subdivision
(5+ lots): $500.00 plus $50.00 per lot
Land Development
5,000 S.F. or Less - $150.00
5,000 to 25,000 S.F. - $300.00
25001 S.F. plus - $300.00 plus $10.00 for each 1000S.F.
