You have applied for a Transaction Privilege (Sales) & Use Tax License for your business which is

located in a residential zoning district within the City of Mesa.

This application is for the limited purpose of granting a Privilege (Sales) and Use Tax License to

conduct taxable business activities within the City of Mesa. The issuance of such license shall not be

construed as an expressed or implied certification that the premises upon which the applicant

conducts business activities conforms to applicable City codes. The Zoning Ordinance and all other

applicable City code requirements are not altered, amended, or eliminated through the issuance of

this license.

constitute a commercial use, which is prohibited in all residential zoning districts, and may result in

enforcement action by the City:

An employee not a resident of the home.

•

Outside storage of materials or supplies.

•

Work performed outside.

•

Exterior indication of a business, such as a sign.

•

Customers on the premises.

•

Parking or storage of a commercial vehicle or equipment.

I further understand and acknowledge that I can be cited by the City of Mesa if I do not comply with

all applicable City codes and ordinances.
