Application Verification & Project Commitment
To ensure the agency's commitment to the safety project and the accuracy of the application, the application
must list the Agency's Transportation/Traffic Engineering Manager.
The manager listed below is attesting to:
1. The application is accurate and represents the total scope of the planned project;
2. The agency understands the Project Delivery Requirements for the ARTS Program, is prepared to meet these
requirements and commits to funding the necessary match;
3. The agency (other than the Oregon Department of Transportation) understands that they will be required to
sign an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with ODOT prior to receiving any project funds. The IGA with the
state will detail the requirements for the use and management of requested funds; and
4. The agency understands if ODOT staff determine that any of the above requirements are not met, or data is
inaccurate, or the application fails to meet the program guidelines and application instructions, the application will
be rejected and will not be eligible to receive federal safety funding.
