If you tick number 1 above, you will need to supply a council tax exemption certificate. If you
tick numbers 2 or 3, you will need to supply the following: Confirmation of acceptance on
course, enrolment details, key details of course (duration, hours, syllabus etc.), confirmation
of payment for course - this may be an invoice, copy of a credit card statement etc., contact
name and details of the establishment course administrator.
Please give the names of all residents who were aged 18 years or more and living in the property
on the day before it became unoccupied (Please include yourself, if applicable)
Please complete a separate application form for each person seeking student status

The Council has a duty to protect public funds, and may use the information you have
provided on this form to collect money owed to the council and to prevent and detect fraud. It
may also share this information with other bodies responsible for auditing or administering
public funds for these purposes
