Instructions
This game can be play by 1, 3, or 5 people. One person takes the Citadel (orange circles in the middle) and defends it against the invading
armies (black and silver). The invaders win if they get one officer and three soldiers inside the Citadel (they cannot be captured once inside).
Another way of winning is by trapping the defender’s pieces inside the Citadel. The defender wins by capturing 24 soldiers and six officers.
1. The defending player starts the game. Then the silver army gets a turn. Then the defending player gets a turn. Then the black army
gets a turn. It continues this way through the game, so that the defending player gets a turn before each of the invading players.
2. For each turn, the player moves a piece according to the movements listed above. A player can capture an opponent’s piece by landing
on the same square as an enemy piece.
3. The defender may move pieces out of the Citadel at any time, through one of the two exits marked with arrows.
4. The game ends in a draw if only one of the invading pieces enters the citadel.
