Confidential information will be provided to a designated representative only if the State-Assessed Properties
Division has a current BOE-892, Statement of Authorization, on file for that representative. The BOE-892,
Statement of Authorization, must be filed annually.
The State Board of Equalization (BOE) collects and stores confidential information about state assessees and has
a responsibility under the law to protect this information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. Assessees
may authorize the transmission of confidential information via email by providing written authorization to the BOE. If
authorization is provided, the confidential information will only be sent to individuals who have a legitimate business
need to view the information (assessee and/or representative.) The following statement will be included with each trans
mission:
