To make a shorter word, look close and you'll find
That all you have to do is remove some letters,
And put an apostrophe there, that's better.

Had + not is hadn't.
Will + not? That's not willn't.
It's won't, it's a little different from the pattern.

And you + are = you're.
It + is = it's,
But those aren't all the contractions that exist.
That + will = that'll,
And we + will = we'll.

Well... he + has = he's, and they + have = they've.
She + had = she'd, like, “She'd forgotten her own birthday!”
Okay, I + would is I'd, and she + would is she'd.
