You make a donation directly to The Child Language Center’s Wings on Words program!
It costs you nothing as you get A Dollar-for Dollar reduction on your Arizona State Taxes.

Every dollar you donate (up to $200 for an individual; $400 for a married couple filing jointly) reduces
•
your Arizona State Taxes by that amount.
And, it can be used as a deduction when you prepare your Federal Taxes too!

Your donation provides for scholarship, educational and clinical materials, support for clinical staff and

teachers at WOW.
How does this tax credit work?
1. Our program qualifies for the “Qualifying Charitable Organization Tax Credit” (the Working Poor Credit)
when you file your Arizona State taxes. This credit is given because we help a significant number of low-
income families. Use AZ Form 321, Credit for Contributions to Charities that Provide Assistance to the
Working Poor.
2. You can donate up to $200 for an individual and up to $400 for a married couple filing jointly.
3. And, because this is a “Charitable Organization Tax Credit,” you can, also, donate to school tax credits and
any other qualified agency that has a different tax credit associated with it.
Who can participate?
1. Any Arizona taxpayer who owes Arizona taxes. As of 2013, you DO NOT NEED to itemize your return!
