Short Answer Questions

In order to consider your application to the National Honor Society, we ask that you answer the following questions on a separate

sheet of paper, typed in 12-point, Times New Roman font. The purpose of the short answer questions below is to give you an

opportunity to reflect upon and process your experiences thus far, and to see how they relate to the four pillars of the National

Honor Society, scholarship, service, leadership and character.

1. Described the service activity that has made the biggest impact on you. Reflect on how your service has affected you and

those you served. Discuss both the positive and negative aspects of this service experience.

2. NHS members should serve as models to others. Explain how you model positive leadership for others.
