is NOT a family member or a member of the Shawnee Mission North High School faculty

or staff. This letter is to be from someone who can comment on your service, leadership, or

character.

To the Adviser or Supervisor:

The student from whom you received this form is an

applicant to the Shawnee Mission North High School Chapter of the National Honor

Society. One letter of recommendation from a non-high school person is required for

admission to the Society. You do not have to use this page. Feel free to use your own

letterhead, but please keep in mind that the Admissions Committee is looking for a

description of specific examples of character, leadership, service, and overall scholarship as

well as knowing your relationship to the candidate. Please return your letter to the student

to include with the application, which is due Friday, September 18, 2015 by 3:20 PM.
