I attest that I/my child have/has fulfilled the reading portion of the St. Gabriel 8th

Grade summer reading requirement by reading 50 steps (15 minutes per step) as

listed above, including a fiction or reallife survival story of at least 150 pages at

the student’s reading level; a book that has not been made into a movie and has

not been read by the student before; a book that is approved by a parent; and a

book that contains the required elements of a survival story.

I understand that the log is due, with signatures, on Thursday, August 27. I

understand that logs should be completed thoroughly and neatly, and that each

block needs to be filled to earn complete credit. I understand that points will be

deducted for each day the log is not turned in or parent signature is not included.
