This form is used to request a Texas title for an outboard motor or to pay sales tax on an outboard motor.

To title a vessel/boat, please use Vessel/Boat Application (PWD 143). Supporting documents, original signatures and payment for

fees and taxes must accompany this form for processing. Please refer to the instructions for PWD 144. Complete in blue or black ink.

Titles print 21 days after being processed and are mailed from TPWD Headquarters in Austin.
