Please follow these rules every day. You are expected to follow all of these rules outlined here as well as all of the other
MMHS policies. They will help you succeed in class. If you choose to break a rule, or disrupt the class, there will be a
consequence. Violations will be dealt with in an appropriate manner. One or two warnings will normally be given
before a parent is emailed or called detention and a referral to the office will be assigned if the problem escalates.
Remember you are here to receive an education and graduate from High School, and I am here to help you complete
these goals.
Academic Grading Policy:
Your academic grade will be determined by the following weighted grading scale:
 30%
A= 90-100
Assignments/notes
 60%
B =80-89
Individual/class Test
 10%
C= 70-79
Quiz
 (two test value)
D= 60-69
Final Exam
F=0-59
Make-up/Late Policy:
If a student is absent during test day, he has to ask and take test during lunch the next day he attends class. All
assignments are due when it is assigned. School policy is that no late work will be accepted. You have two days to make
up work for excused absences. Students can only make-up one failed test during each semester. Therefore, Take each
chapter test very seriously, prepare and study very hard for it.
Support Policy:
Tutoring: All students who have questions or are having difficulty are strongly encouraged to ask questions during class
time. Tutoring will be available before school (7:00 – 7:30 am) and during lunch every day. In addition, students can use
the following on-line tutorial math sides: and
Online Grade Access:
Grades will be posted at the end of each chapter (two-three weeks). Students are encouraged to check their grades very
often using Power School, and talk to the teacher if there is a disagreement or a problem.
Other Important Issue:
Please remember your class grade is base in your hard work and dedication during the whole 18 weeks of the semester
and not in your performance on the last two weeks of it. Therefore, I totally discourage students to wait until almost the
end of the semester to try to do some extra work to get a passing grade. It will just not happen.
