Term and Conditions
Acceptance of Merchandise:

Renaissance Consignment & Marketplace, (also known as RCM) must be notified in advance of any out-of-area consignments, and they must be either accompanied
with a completed contract or RCM must have one on file for you previously. Items must be in new or like new condition. Items that have been altered, both in size and
in the changing of original hardware or appearance in anyway will not be accepted. Consignor states that all items have been professionally cleaned prior to being
shipped. Should your items need cleaning, they will be returned at the consignor’s expense or RCM will offer an optional cleaning service for a fee.
Returns:

RCM may return items to the consignor at any time. These items will be insured – C.O.D. to the address you have provided. It is the consignor’s responsibility to
update their mailing address should there be any changes. Should the item(s) be undeliverable and returned to RCM, and attempts to contact the consignor fail,
these items will be donated within 30 days of return. Items found to have any staining, flaws, or alterations will be returned to the consignor at the consignor’s
expense or may be donated, in which the consignor will be mailed a tax deductible receipt.
Monitoring your items:

Consignors will receive an email approximately 7 days of consigning items. This email will include the starting price, category and each item’s expiration date. It is
the full responsibility of the consignor to contact RCM should they not receive this email. You understand that this is the only remainder you will receive. It is your
responsibility to monitor your own expiration dates.
Upon expiration of your Clothing items you have 5 days to act on one of the following 3 options:

1. Request that RCM donate your items and send you a tax deductible receipt. 2. Request that your items be returned to the address above with C.O.D. shipping.
3. Come into the store and request a report of items and gather the items that you want returned. You must pick up at RCM within 5 days of expiration or you are
giving permission to RCM to become the legal owner of the items and forfeit items with no future claim.
Items Markdown Schedule:

A - Regular items
Consigned for 60 days - will mark down 20% at 30 days – 30% at 40 days – 40% at 50 days. Consignor receives 40% of the selling price.
D – Couture
Consigned for 180 days - will not mark down – Consignor receives 50% of the selling price.
K – Couture
Consigned for 180 days - will mark down 20% at 90 days – 30% at 120 days – 40% at 150 days. Consignor receives 50% of the selling price.
G - Design & After 5
Consigned for 180 days - will mark down 20% at 90 days – 30% at 120 days – 40% at 150 days. Consignor receives 40% of the selling price.
W - Wedding Gowns
Consigned for 180 days – will mark down 20% at 90 days – 30% at 120 days – 40% at 150 days. Consignor receives 50% of the selling price.

Consigned items must remain on selling floor for the entire consignment period or be subject to a 20% penalty for early removal.
RCM
may donate or sell at a discount any items found with damage, stains, or alterations after check in.
Because RCM does not own your item they can not insure the item. You agree that by consigning your items, RCM will not be responsible for any loss resulting from theft,
fire, water, or any type of damage.
Fees and Payments:

Checks are written on the 15
th
of each month for account credits exceeding
$51.00 or more from the preceding month’s sales. There is a fee of $1.00 for every check
processed. If your account is less then $50.00 you may receive a cash payout or you may use your credit in the store and receive an additional 10% of your current store balance.
Buyers will pay an item fee on every item purchased in the store, which will not reflect on your statement or affect your split. There is a one-time charge of $25.00 to set up a consignment
account that will be deducted from your first payout.
Authenticity and Ownership of Merchandise:

By signing this agreement and consigning items with RCB, you guarantee that you lawfully and entirely own all the items. Only original, authentic designer items are
accepted by RCB and you the consignor guarantee that all items you place for consignment are authentic and not a “knock-off.”
You the consignor certify that the items you consign are genuine and authentic and guarantee your items to be as such.

you may change your password. This area will only show sales transactions. For inventory reports call the store and request a current e-mail.
