Persuasive Letter

Persuasive Letter
The company you work for has recently cut funding to your department, and
in response to this you have recently been nominated to construct a letter
convincing the company to reverse its decision. The reason you have been
nominated is due to your unique writing voice and style, as well as your
excellent persuasive abilities.
In a one page, single spaced letter, do your best to convince your company
heads that this decision is not in their best interest. Draw upon ethos, pathos,
and logos when forming your argument, through any combination of
statistics, larger cultural considerations, and/or personal anecdotes. Again,
this letter can take on any voice or tone—creative, satirical and/or
businesslike—just be sure it is fitting to your intended audience and that
your desired effect is evident to your reader.
