*** A WRITTEN EXPLAINATION IS REQUIRED THAT ADDRESSES WHERE AND HOW THE EGGS
WILL BE INCUBATED AND THE FISH REARED. This must include:
1.
Egg take procedures
2.
Description of the type of incubation and rearing systems.
3.
Water source for rearing and proposed effluent discharge location.
4.
Provisions made for emergency water system in the event of a primary water system
failure.
5.
Sketch of the design of the facility, the incubation and rearing site plan, facility floor
plan, water supply system, and facility layout.
6.
Map showing the location of the school compared to the location of the egg take site
(if applicable), and compared to the location of the incubation facility.

Prerelease inspection may be required by the Pathology Laboratory. Release should be timed as nearly as
possible to the natural timing of the donor stock, the plankton bloom, or at a time appropriate to maximize
the survival rate. This project is for educational purposed only and any adult returns from this project may
not be claimed as exclusive property of the project.
