TO ALL RETAIL VENDORS

The St. Clair County Commission has joined with the State of Alabama in the Sales Tax Holiday regarding

SPECIFIC SCHOOL SUPPLIES for exemption from the State 4 cent sales tax and the

St. Clair County 1 cent Sales Tax, beginning 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2008 and ending

12:00 midnight on Sunday, August 3, 2008.

This exemption does not include the County 1 cent Education Tax.

Each store location will file a regular St. Clair County Sales and Use Tax Return Form

a St. Clair

and

County Special Sales Tax Holiday Form for the month of August, 2008.
