our aspirations. A solid connection allows the board to present a united vision to members and

the campus and achieve resonance between the vision and the organization’s events and

involvement.

I will be a supportive leader while remaining an active leader as well. I will support my

teammates by asking the right questions, being available to help, expecting our best, and

encouraging group accountability. If I am elected President I intend to continue the tradition of

fostering the growth of the executive board through one on one meetings, providing

opportunities, and encouraging the exploration of new ideas. I believe that the 2010-2011

Executive Board will continue to take RHA to new levels by working together toward common

goals using strong communication and mutual respect. While the VP of Internal Development

focuses on ensuring the growth of RHA members, the President must help each board member

discover and reach their potential. My experience and interests in personal and leadership

development will prove useful in this responsibility. I am personally invested in the success of

RHA and the Executive Board and I guarantee that I will give my very best.

RHA has made me the leader I am today and I believe all students deserve an experience where

their leadership development is a primary focus. This is an experience unique to RHA and I

want to represent the amazing leaders in RHA to the community as their President. I would be

honored to be the President of the organization I love: programming, advocating, and

developing the residents.
