Understanding the point

Where would you place the decimal point in this weather report?
The day was fine and warm, with a maximum temperature of 245˚C.
Solution
Since a warm day has a temperature in the mid-twenties, we would place the decimal point
after the 4 so it reads 24.5˚C.
