To increase my understanding of child development and early childhood practices by earning my CDA credential and becoming a lead

classroom teacher.

To improve my knowledge/skills in positive guidance for children

To learn more about the Creative Curriculum to make sure I’m incorporating it in my classroom

To meet these goals I need to study: CDA Subject areas: Safe, healthy learning environment, physical and intellectual development,

supporting children’s social and emotional development, establishing productive relationships with families, managing effective program

operation, professionalism, observing and recording children’s behavior, principles of child development and learning the components of the

Creative Curriculum.
