Create Employment
There are endless amounts of ways you can create employment for yourself and earn
your money for your HOBY experience! Here’s a list of some of the more common ways
you can create your own employment:

Baby/Pet sitting
•
Assisting your neighbor/friends/family with
o Gardening
o House work/cleaning
o Snow removal
o Holiday gift wrapping
o Window washing
o Tech Help
o Etc.

Mowing lawns
•
Dog walking
•
Car washing
•
Tutoring
•
Search for temporary jobs in your community
For most of these you can make a flyer and offer your new service to your neighbors,
family, and family friends, and if your parents approve – maybe the corner store or
local shops/cafes will let you put up a flyer with the announcement.
