Procedure
1. Mix one teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate, one teaspoon of sucrose, and one teaspoon of calcium
chloride in a bag.
2. Measure out 10 mL of water. Before you pour the water in, make sure most of the air is out of the
bag. Pour the water into the bag with the sodium bicarbonate and seal quickly trying to get as much
air as possible out of the bag. Observe. Make a data table to record your results.
