Every year about 100 men are selected from a total of about 700 applicants to join the Finnish airborne rangers.
Selections are based on a psychological and a physical test. After getting selected, my responsibility was to
maintain the units reputation. My responsibility was also to maintain the safety of 30 men during practice, to
achieve the objective of the practice, to manage supply, to avoid conflicts among soldiers, and to take care of
administrative duties.
