Miss Huppert’s Management Plan

Because I believe strongly in Nathan Hales values, I’ve incorporated them into our classroom. The functions of

these Bees’s are to promote a safe, nurturing, and successful learning environment. I expect each student to

follow these BEE’s.

Classroom Bee’s

Be Positive (Good attitudes)

Be Respectful (To themselves, the teacher, other students, and property)

Be Polite (Raising hand to speak and cooperating with us)

Be Prepared (completes required work, has all required materials)

Be Safe (Keeping hands and feet to self, and walks properly in the hallway)

To be more specific for the students, I have classroom rules that are to be followed. They were created with the

help of the class, and are more specific then our Classroom Bee’s.

Rule # 1 Follow direction quickly.

Rule # 2 Raise your hand for permission to speak.

Rule # 3 Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.

Rule # 4 Think and make safe choices

Rule # 5 Keep your dear teacher happy.

Class Goal: Always try our BEST!

If a student chooses not to follow these rules, consequences will be issued. The purpose of consequences is to

help teach the difference between appropriate and inappropriate behavior. These consequences will help aide

your child in making better choices. (To help students keep track of their behavior the students will have a

behavior chart.) Every night your student will bring home a chart that has the color they had at the end of the

day. The color code is listed below. Please initial the behavior chart each night.
