This project was made possible by a grant from an Alaska Clean Water Actions (ACWA) grant from the
Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation. This project built upon previous work that was led
by Lisa Ferber at Zender Environmental Science and Planning Services with support from the Nushagak
Mulchatna Watershed Council.
Sue Flensburg, at the Bristol Bay Native Association, conducted the grant administration and logistical
planning for this project. She generously provided housing and hospitality for field crew while they were
in Dillingham and filled in to do fieldwork herself on one occasion. Daniel Chythlook and Tina Carr
provided fieldwork assistance for this project. Luki Akelkok, Sr. provided transportation to study sites
and housing, food and steams for the fieldcrew in Ekwok.
