Many elements need to come together to ensure
your Annual Report production runs to schedule.
Our checklist is designed to help CFOs and project
managers develop a project plan for the smooth
delivery of your next annual report.

Project team

Assign a project manager

Map all stakeholders, their roles and
responsibilities
» Executive team for signoff (board members,
management and others)
» Finance team
» Auditors
» Internal resources for producing content
» External resources - appoint designers,
photographers, content writers, and printers

Set up timelines

Work backwards from the distribution date
- this may be set by your AGM

Check all stakeholder’s annual leave plans

Allow time for approvals
○
Book printers and set quantities. Consult on
printing process and timeline.

Book distribution - set delivery timelines, labelling
requirements, packaging (shrink wrap, envelopes)

Who needs to approve specific elements?
