Dear Family,

I would like you to do a paper folding activity with your child. Together you and

your child should take a rectangular piece of blank paper and either fold it in

half or fold it into fourths.

In class, the children will look at all the pieces of paper that have been brought

in and put them into two groups, those pieces of paper that have been folded in

half and those pieces of paper that have been folded into four equal parts.
