Dear Admissions Board,

After reviewing different universities, I have discovered that MyChosen University has a

strong creative writing program. I am excited about the possibility of joining your program

and helping to further that reputation.

I have been writing my own stories since I was very young and have won several writing

contests and awards. Writing comes as naturally to me as breathing. I can’t imagine doing

anything else with my life. As a homeschooler I’ve had more opportunity to hone my writing

abilities than most students.

I have always been a good student while balancing my homeschool assignments along with

courses from our local community college as a dual enrolled student. I’ve also kept busy by

volunteering my free time at our local library. I just love being around books!

Included is my transcript, application, letters of recommendation and essay as requested in

the application packet. Thank you for your time and consideration.
