Cut out an array for each multiplication fact from 2

For each array:
• Write the products of factors • Write the product on

➤ Spread out the arrays.
18 cards should have grid side up.

➤ Take turns to choose an array and say
what is on its other side.
If you are correct, you keep the array.
If you are incorrect, put the array back
on the table.

arrays at the end of the game.
Game 2 Who Has the Greater Product?
➤ Deal the cards, grid side up.
➤ Each student places one card on the table.
The student with the greater product takes both cards.
➤ Subtract the products.
The answer is the number of points the student gets.
Use a tally chart to keep score.
➤ The winner is the student with more points at
the end of the game.
