2018 Internship - Landscape Design

Carolina Landscape is seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team! Ideally

the candidate is working to finish a degree in Landscape Architecture/ Design and wishes to learn

all facets of a high-end residential design +build firm. Candidates should demonstrate his or her

ability to manage tasks independently, be detail oriented and work well in a team driven

environment.

Essential Skill Set:

• Experience with autoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe Suite & Office Suite is required

• Basic knowledge of the Low Country plant palette (Zones 8-10) preferred

• Strong organizational skills

• Possess a convincing and outgoing personality with excellent people skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities may include:

• Site Analysis - Base mapping, CAD base map, Site Documentation

• Conceptual Planning - Hand Renderings, Sections, 3-D models, Precedent Research

• Master Plan - CAD master plan, Construction Documents, Quote generation

• Purchasing - Contacting Vendors & Subs, Plant Sourcing, Quality Control

• Installation - Documentation, Site Visits, Management Tools

• Marketing - Blogs, Social Media, Website Development

• Administration - As-Built, Archiving, Template Updates

• Client Outreach - Consultations, Ongoing Correspondence

Educational Requirements:

• Working towards or recently completed a degree in Landscape Architecture/ Design

• 3.0 GPA or higher

Compensation:

• Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience

Job Type:

• Full-time preferred, but negotiable depending on selected candidate's circumstance

Required license or certification:

• Valid Driver's License
