package when the client will contribute £3.50 towards the cost of the staff’s meal.
This is only when out on community based activities, within the clients home only
drinks will be supplied by the client, staff are required to provide their own meals
regardless of the hours worked.
Protective clothing/gloves.
Should a client require personal care it is their responsibility to provide aprons,
gloves and any other protective items that is deemed necessary. Acme care will
however provide these to the client at cost price should they wish to do so. This
will be invoiced to the client separately to the monthly care invoice.
Funding arrangements.
This will be done on a Monthly basis.
Late Payments.
In the event of payment not being made by either the due date, the other party
may, at their discretion charge interest in line with the LATE PAYMENT OF
COMMERCIAL DEBTS ACT, for every day that the fee remains outstanding in
excess of the settlement period detailed.
Additional charges - Retainer
If a client does not need a service from us, then a retainer of 50% will be
charged. For this to exercised, then Acme Care ltd require at least one weeks
notice, should this not be possible then a full charge will be made for the
expected hours. This is to retain the staff member to the said client, as we
believe that continuity of staff to client is paramount.
Termination of Contract
If there is a break down of service Acme Care Ltd will give you a month’s notice
to find another Care Agency, who will be able to support your needs and provide
you with the care you require.
Also, if you are unhappy with the service that we are providing you with, Acme
Care Ltd requires a month’s notice to withdraw our services.
Death of Service User.
