him truly, they know that they were one with him in mind and spirit. They know that their

life was inseparable from his. Those who love, simply know the truth of Life: we are one,

and we shall always be one with another for we are one with God now and forever more.

•

Our life is eternal – it does not die. I know that appearances change; but it would be a

mistake to think that an infinite Life can end. Every flower has its season, and then

withers and fades; but its life is not over. Life continues from unseen roots or seeds it

has sown, or in the fruit it bore that nourishes and sustains the living. Even the elemental

energy of a body that disintegrates over time is not lost to the infinite universe in which it

lives, moves and has its being. Energy is neither created nor destroyed; it merely

transforms. Surely if we believe that even the energy of a body goes on, we must

recognize that the Life of the body does not end with death. I know that I am talking

about the universal when it is an individual that we came here to honor and respect. But

to truly respect ____________ we must honor the infinite depth and universal breadth of

the One Life that was individualized as _________________________. Jesus spoke the

truth when he said:

•

“He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (Jn.14:9) and

•

“I and my Father are one”. (Jn.10:30)

It is God that we meet and greet in one another, if we but recognize Life for what It is

within us. Such recognition is achieved in Love. It acquaints us with the spiritual. It

awakens us to the mystical. It assures us of the immortal nature of our Life, our love and

our loved ones.

Lk. 12: 35-38 Blessed is the servant whom shall be found waiting when his Lord

returns. The lord shall serve that servant. Marilyn lived in service to others. I've been at

a few meals with ________________. She waited attentively on her honored guests.

She expressed her love and respect in seeing to the needs of others who were fortunate

enough to find themselves in her care. Surely she is now the honored guest, being

served by the Lord of Life. I believe in reciprocity in Life. I believe that it is done unto

you as you believe. I believe that as you sow, so shall you reap. I believe that the

continuity of Life is a continuation of one's consciousness. I believe that the reward of a

life well lived, is to have that life to live; and that life is eternal.

“It is human to grieve over the loss of dear ones. We would not wish it to be otherwise.

We love them and cannot help missing them. But a true realization of immortality and the

continuity of the individual soul will rob our grief of any sense of hopelessness. We shall

know that loving friends have met them and that their life still flows on with the currents of

eternity. We shall feel that we have not lost them. They have only gone before”. Ernest
