Outdoor School Behavior Contract
READ & RETURN TO LA/SS BLOCK TEACHER BY Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
As you know, Outdoor School will be held at Grove Christian Camp in Cottage Grove. We
want all students to have a successful and positive experience during their session at camp.
In order to maintain the school standards of exhibiting s afe, respectful, and responsible
behavior, w e are asking you to r ead, sign, a nd r eturn this letter by March 16, 2016.
More specifically, our behavior expectations are defined as such. Any student who engages in
harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment, and/ or disrespectful behavior towards
others prior to outdoor school, will be exempt from attending ODS this year. Teachers and/ or
administration will document these behaviors and communicate with parents/ guardians as
soon as these behaviors occur.
It is our hope that your student comes away with wonderful memories of their time at Outdoor
School. The following are the expectations for all campers to remember as they participate and
make choices about their conduct during all aspects of Outdoor School.
Behave in a
and RESPECTFUL m anner at A LL t imes.
Please note: Students who do not follow these expectations will be transported home
by parents immediately. This reflects the same consequence as if they were attending
a regular day of school.
They are a terrific group of kids and we want to make this year's Outdoor School a positive
and rewarding experience for all. We thank you for your cooperation.
