Business partners can:

Provide incentives that motivate students to achieve;

Develop programs that incorporate real-life business activities to classroom

learning;

Level the playing field by donating items to needy students such as school

supplies, clothing, shoes, school uniforms, etc.

Partnerships take into account the charitable goals of the business; the nature, size and

expertise of the business; and, the availability of employee release time. In addition, a

partnership with a public school can be a wonderful opportunity for a business to

demonstrate its corporate citizenship while providing employees a rewarding outlet for

their volunteer efforts.
