Education/Experience
Qualified candidate must have a BA/BS in Civil Engineering from an
accredited college or university or equivalent work experience as a civil
designer.
A minimum of 2 years experience in the field of civil engineering.
Knowledge of City, County, State of Hawaii and Federal design standards
and regulations
Language Skills
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to present project materials and information clearly and concisely.
Strong organizational skills.
Other Skills
Sound working knowledge of applicable regulatory materials and the
principles, theories and practices of civil engineering.
Understand, analyze, interpret and process technical information and
materials.
Proficiency in computer-aided design and software including AutoCad,
Civil3D, MS Office including MS Project
Proven ability to work collaboratively with team members, clients and
consultants.
Ideal candidate will demonstrate ability to use sound discretion, initiative
and independent judgment.
