To calculate the litres for the new calendar year refund period January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2003:
i)
Put all your receipts that fall between January 1, 2003 and December 31, 2003 in date order.
ii) Add the litres from these receipts to obtain the number of litres purchased.
Enter this amount in the Fuel Litres column for the period January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2003

To calculate the litres for the interim refund period August 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002:
i)
Put all your receipts that fall between August 1, 2002 and December 31, 2002 in date order.
ii) Add the litres from these receipts to obtain the number of litres purchased.
Enter this amount in the Fuel Litres column for the period August 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002

geographical area where you purchased most of your fuel from (see example above).
Use the list on the reverse side of the application form to determine if your fuel purchases were
made in either the Greater Vancouver or Greater Victoria area. If your fuel purchases were not
made in either of these two areas, the purchases are then considered made in Other Areas of BC.
