What Happens During the Phone Call?

When you call TeleFile, you will . . .

File your Federal tax return. You will provide the information needed to complete your Federal Tax Return. TeleFile

will compute your Federal taxes for you and give you a confirmation number that confirms you submitted your

Federal Tax Return and the IRS has received your Federal information.

Agree to share your Federal tax information with the Georgia Department of Revenue(DOR). This is a consent

to release your Federal tax information to the Georgia DOR. Georgia DOR needs this information to complete

your Georgia return. The Georgia DOR will keep your return information confidential.

File your Georgia return. You only provide additional information needed to complete your Georgia State Re-

turn—you will not need to provide information more than one time. TeleFile will compute your Georgia taxes

for you and give you a confirmation number. This number confirms you submitted your Georgia return and the

Georgia DOR has received your state information .

IMPORTANT!

Do not hang up before you receive

your Georgia TeleFile confirmation number.

If you want to file your State return with TeleFile, you must do so during the same phone

call when you file your Federal return. After filing your Federal return, if you hang up

before you finish filing your State return, you cannot call back later to file your State

return with TeleFile. You will have to file a paper return using Form 500EZ.

Can I Make Contributions?

Non-Game-Endangered Wildlife Conservation Fund—You can donate all or part of your tax refund to the

Wildlife Conservation Fund. Indicate the amount you want to contribute on line F-1, of the Georgia Individual

TeleFile Tax Record . Contributions can also be sent directly to the Wildlife Conservation Fund, Georgia Depart-

ment of Natural Resources, 116 Rum Creek Drive, Forsyth, GA 31029.

Children and Elderly Fund—You can donate all or a portion of your tax refund to this fund. Indicate the amount

you want to contribute on line F-2, of the Georgia Individual TeleFile Tax Record . You can also send your contri-

bution directly to the Georgia Fund for Children and Elderly, Georgia Department of Human Resources, Two

Peachtree Street NW, Room 27-295, Atlanta GA 30303-3142

Breast Cancer, Prostate Cancer, and Ovarian Cancer Research—You can donate all or a portion of your tax

refund. Indicate the amount you want to contribute on line F-3, of the Georgia Individual TeleFile Tax Record .
