Provide to each student:
-Chemical Reaction Types Worksheet (double sided)
Provide to each lab station group:
- Happy Atoms app downloaded onto tablet device
- Happy Atoms modeling set.
For this lesson, it may be easier to have students rotate through stations of reactions. If this
is the case, combine the same atoms from different Happy Atom sets in order to have
enough of each atom at each station to create models of the reactions. Before the lesson,
you will need to sort the atoms into the appropriate sets.

Station 1: Nitrogen, hydrogen (3:1 ratio)

Station 2: Carbon, oxygen (2:1 ratio)

Station 3: Magnesium, lithium, hydrogen (1:2:2)

Station 4: Magnesium, sulfur, oxygen, hydrogen (1:1:1:1)
