2Corporate/Enterprise Customer Implementations
Under the direction of a Project Manager, and as part of a cross functional team, a Business
Analyst may:
i.
Undertake project implementations for new corporate or enterprise implementations
ii.
Build project plans, or components of a project plan
iii.
Deliver on-time, in-budget milestones
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or a two-year post-secondary diploma or certification with a computing
element, or equivalent knowledge gained through combination of education and experience
2+ years in a Analyst role, 3 to 5 preferred
Technical Software Analyst experience preferred
Work experience in the following areas:
i.
Business/technical requirements analysis
ii.
Business process modeling/mapping, methodology, methodology development, and
data modeling
iii.
Overseeing design, development, and implementation of software and hardware
iv.
Collecting and analyzing data using a variety of data management tools
v.
Systems integration projects
vi.
Structured approaches such as the rational methodology, UML, SCRUM, AGILE or other
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle
Excellent communication skills with both technical people and business users, including the
ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues
Work and communicate effectively across varied project team environments: on-site with
customers, local office, and global remote
Ability to travel to various countries if required for projects
Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
*Note on Reporting Line: Business Analysts Report directly to the General Manager. However; based on
the project they are assigned to, will be seconded to report to a Project Manager or Project Sponsor on
a project by project basis.
