Responsible for assisting with completing all documentation for each Client’s Employment & Training program.

a.
Completing all Client paperwork and ensuring compliance with all Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc. (GWIK)
and CARF requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, intake paperwork, status changes, running notes,
adjustment goal plans, monthly staffings, termination paperwork and final reports.
b.
Maintaining records of Client productivity in relation to GWIK standards and Department of Labor policies and
procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, time studies, on/off task analysis, and piece rate production.
c.
Ensuring that the Client is working towards competitive employment in relation to vocational goals listed on
their IEP or IPE.
d.
Working with the Retail Store and Production staff to insure donations are processed in a timely manner by
scheduling Client’s work shifts, promptly addressing Client problems in the production area, and ensuring that
the Clients receive proper training in the production area.

Responsible for providing support to all other Employment, Training & Rehab staff at the assigned location, as
directed by supervisor.
a.
Assisting the Evaluation Program Manager in completing vocational evaluations, as needed.
b.
Assisting the Placement Counselors in conducting Job Readiness Training Classes, as needed.
c.
Assisting the ETR Coordinator in other duties, as assigned.

Responsible for acting as the liaison between GWIK Employment, Training & Rehab facility and other training sites.
Providing feedback on the Client’s job performance to the appropriate ETR Program Manager.

Relaying all necessary information between the GWIK facility and the training site.
c.
Maintaining open communication between the GWIK facility and the training site to ensure a productive working
relationship and to head off any potential problems or concerns.

Working with the Employment, Training & Rehab Coordinator to deal with any problems or concerns in a timely
and effective manner.
7.
Responsible for assisting the Placement Program Manager with compiling current information regarding labor
markets, employment trends and special programs as information becomes available.
a.
Using the Employer Contact Form to maintain information and submitting copies to the Employment, Training &
Rehab Services Manager (or designee) and sharing information with Placement staff at the monthly Placement
meetings.
b.
Using Internet, the Department of Employment Security, local newspapers, etc. for new business information
and job contacts.
c.
Keeping a record of all job opportunities departmentally and in the GWIK service delivery area.
8.
Responsible for marketing the Employment, Training & Rehab program to local employers, community members and
other agencies.

Attending local job fairs, career fairs and other business oriented events, as assigned.
b.
Projecting a positive and professional image to Clients and employers at all times.

complaints. Providing excellent customer service to all visitors, employees, Clients and customers creating a
